Goldmond “Gold” Fong is an award-winning director, editor, and visual effects specialist based in Los Angeles, CA. With a diverse portfolio spanning commercials, promos, music videos, graphic visualizers, short films, and television, he brings a cinematic approach to every project.

Gold has collaborated with top agencies and brands, serving as a Creative Director & Senior Video Editor at Big Door Studios in El Segundo, CA, an Editor & Camera Operator at MK3 Creative in Boston, MA, and an Editor & Camera Operator at Zulu Alpha Kilo in Toronto, Canada. As a freelance Creative Director, Motion Graphic Designer and VFX Supervisor, he has worked with Universal Music Group artists including Katy Perry, Halsey, and Niall Horan. His directing and VFX supervision credits include music videos for Coi Leray, Nav, Lil Gotit, Lil Tjay, and Tyga.

His work has earned industry recognition, including the Outstanding Editing award at the 2022 Micheaux Film Festival for Fetish—an Oscar-qualified short film directed by Rhian Williams and produced by Jennifer Zhang. His narrative directorial debut, My Little Caregiver, co-directed with Sam Solomon, won Outstanding Dramatic Short at the 2023 Micheaux Film Festival.

Gold earned a BFA in Film Production from Emerson College, honing his expertise in film negatives, digital intermediate, on-set editing, previsualization, and visual effects.
